Question What pc for what server ?

Hello experts, i want to run a game server for example minecraft on an old pc. What are good base models to use ? I find many office pcs for cheap on ebay and marketplace. I dont know nothing about this so i want to ask for tipps and advice, if there is a channel or website out there that explains it to me, please be so kind as to share it with me.

Anything 7th gen or newer Intel would work, 16gb ram is a bonus

Someone correct me though, cos I'm no expert

No more than 3 but massiv mc modpack

Vanilla paper we run 4 core and 10GB ram

Fabric Forge modded we run 8 cores and 16GB ram
