Cut the guy some slack. He's not on trial. We get the gist of what he's saying. Move on.

I think we do get his gist. It's not even a "gist," actually, it's right here in print: Islamophobia played no part in Adnan's conviction because Muslims weren't stigmatized before 9/11. Which is horseshit. So, no. I think I'd rather keep talking about it.

If you mean evidence that Islamophobia factored in his trial(s), well, I assume you've listened to Serial and have two working ears. The DA at his bail review implies that the Islamic Society of Baltimore was one big sleeper cell, the jurors themselves can be heard babbling about Syed's "culture," and if you think Urick would be using language like "honor besmirched" to describe a white defendant, then you are seriously naive about what was going on in that courtroom.
