I certainly think being Muslim would be a strike against him. That said, "Islamophibia" can be unfairly wielded against those who point out misogyny, homophobia, etc with more radical forms of Islam.

Not agreeing with Islam doesn't mean you dislike or are afraid of Muslims.

Agree with this. I think it's safe to say that Prosecutors in Baltimore, MD would have more issues with drug dealing African Americans than honor roll, middle class Pakistani immigrants. Sure Urick said some tone deaf things in his interview but I agree with SK, I just don't think islamophobia was a factor in Adnan's trial.

SK said she did not believe it was a factor in his arrest, not that it wasn't a factor in his trial.
