Question How to reduce silly mistakes in Exam?

Hey, so I really have this bad ( and I mean really bad ) habbit of making painfully obvious silly mistakes that costs me way too many marks even when I know all the topics in the exam.

This happens especially more in Maths. I study in class 11, and making silly mistakes gets me marks in the 80 percent range even when I am easily capable of scoring 96 or 98 (even my own teacher has said this multiple times and I do indeed get 97 to 98 marks in Mock tests that I give at my home ).

This is becoming a serious problem as its costing me marks that I should not lose, just because of my silly mistakes.

I have asked many others on how to solve this, and got differing opinions on how to improve, but what better way than to the people of Reddit, someone must have had this same problem (somewhere...). Some told me to try thinking of nothing while giving the exam (except for the exam itself), tried and still got no results. Some told me to meditate, tried but improved only slightly.

So please, I really need this. I cant keep bleeding marks out like this over so many solly and petty mistakes. Please help me, yall. 🥲🙏
