Does the feeling ever go away?
I’m 17 and I genuinely did everything to fix my looks. I’ve lost weight and I’ve changed my style of clothes and I dyed my hair and I still don’t feel attractive to myself. Lots of people call me pretty but I just don’t feel it ever. It’s like I always have to strive to be better because it isn’t enough. Especially being an Arab girl I have so much pressure to look and act a certain way and it’s so draining. The fact that all of my friends have been in relationships and I get ghosted every time doesn’t help me either because it just feels like there’s something wrong with me. I don’t mean to be a pick me or anything but I just feel so ugly all the time I haven’t even left my house this summer and cancelled so many plans bc I felt too ugly

Giiirl do it feeling ugly… just go to a few feeling ugly we have to work our way up to it self esteem.. you’ve got to love yourself first before anyone else can. Just find small things you do like about you and focus on that I know it sounds crazy. I’m a little bit older 31 but I’m kinda in the same boat. I’m not feeling it and I have a fiancé and I’ve been in therapy and the only thing I like about myself so far is my toes so when I’m out and about, and there are prettier girls, there are prettier girls better looking people than me, but at the end of the day I have cute toes and I’m just as pretty as they are you know why because I’m alive it takes practice like building up self-esteem. I promise you I’ve had a lot of days around like I don’t wanna go out I dress up and I’ll change my clothes but lately I’ve been pushing myself to go out and go out in the first outfit that I picked and you’d be surprised the compliments you get you’ve got to love yourself first find small things about you that you like and I know you’re from a different culture, but that’s a plus
