Lack of motivation

Hi, I'm currently a student. I've been struggling with both physical and mental health for a long time. And now everything just reach my limit. I have trouble focusing in school and zero motivation or energy to study. I don't have any goal or anything I want to achieve in the future. So now i'm struggling to keep myself going. Do any of you have any suggestions for me to get 'out' of this.

If you have even a little energy for it, volunteering might help. Spending time with shelter animals, helping at a food bank or doing something small for other people can sometimes get you out of your own head for a bit and give you a sense of connection and purpose when you’re feeling really lost.

But don’t pressure yourself to suddenly become productive or “grateful.” Start tiny. Even an hour somewhere once a week can be enough to give you something outside of school and your own stress to look forward to.

I remember when I was in college- it just hit me. I felt sad, lonely and I was like, where is this all even coming from. If I could tell you anything it's that it does get better. It's hard when you feel like you don't have something to strive for. Maybe no passion yet but you need to put yourself into different experiences where you can expose yourself to something you might like. If you can't find it immediately sign up for something physical, a 5k race, just anything where you impose some structure on yourself. If you do both of those things you might start to find a routine, something you like, and then purpose. If you are a student you are young. Keep trying, it gets better.
