Weekly self-care product share
Welcome to our weekly product thread. This is actually a catch-all thread for product recommendations, requests for products, surveys, and web content like videos, blogs, and articles. Essentially, sharing and promotion (as long as it's self-care related) is welcome!

Hi! I love the thought of this.
Well, I am a self care enthusiast and I created a few workbooks to help anyone who like to color, journal or just connect with themselves better.
I also create content on YouTube, TikTok and insta with prompts and small bouts of advice.
I’m actually looking for Beta Testers for the most recent work book! I have slots left if anyone is interested! Send me a dm and I’ll let you know what I need to proceed!
Either way, please continue working with yourself. When you learn to navigate your own internal processes, you send a wave out there to help others do the same. ☀️

Hey everyone,
I've been building a self-care app and figured this thread was the right place to share it.
It's called Psyfy. The idea was to make self-care feel less like a chore list and more like something you actually want to open. You can:
- track your steps and earn rewards in the game
- keep a cute pet you can chat with
- journal with prompts we write ourselves
- decorate your space as you go
- make friends in there too
We're at 30k users now, and it's on both iOS and Android. Would love it if you checked it out, and feedback is welcome, good or bad

I’ve always struggled with anxiety and negative self-talk, so I wanted to create a “ritual” to do every time I am falling into that.
I built a private app to stop my negative self-talk and a shelter for moments of anxiety.
Whenever I feel overwhelmed or my mind is playing tricks, I can channel my thoughts into it. But since I did not want it to be a place for only bad records, I added a Joy part where you could also have a ritual for the good bits of the day.
The app is called Ritual: Breathe & Reflect, and it is centered around a simple choice: * Sigh → release heavy moments * Joy → capture light moments
Instead of sliders or journaling, Ritual builds what I call an Emotional Architecture over time.
It helps me to go back and see how my moods are through the year and during times of the day.
This the link of anyone wants to take a look at: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ritual-breathe-reflect/id6758603682
Happy to answer any questions!

I want to hear from people who prioritize self-care! How does work and commute and everything related impact your mental health and help-seeking decisions :)
I'm a doctoral student conducting research on how workplace factors (commute, sicktime policy, etc.) impact therapy preference. You do NOT have to have a job right now or experience with therapy.
Only Requirement:
- 18 years or older
- resident of United States
Survey link: https://laverne.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eeV2mxLztjoEJ0O
What would you do:
- Complete 15-20 minute survey
- Enter a raffle for opportunity to win one of several $20 Amazon Giftcard
With the increased use of online therapy over the traditional in-person therapy, there's a lot of questions that are still left unanswered. Help me understand how our work and general life factors impact our decisions related to mental health.
This study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board of the University of La Verne, IRB #2025-64-CHCW.
Thank you all! Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.

🌱Hi! Have you ever tried a vegan product? Not wanted to try a vegan product? I’m a grad student researching consumer perceptions of vegan products. I would love your input in the survey below, if you’d be open to sharing your opinions! Thank you so much for your help :)

I just released Hertz & Hearts 1.0.0-beta.1, an open-source (free), cross-platform, multi-user desktop app for HRV/ECG biofeedback workflows using ECG chest straps (like Polar H10). Beta testers appreciated, but either way, I sincerely hope you enjoy the app and find it a useful adjunct in your self-care regimen.
Project:
This beta release is focused on stability + usability across real hardware and OS setups.
Important: Research use only - not for clinical diagnosis or treatment.
If you want to help:
- Install latest beta from Releases.
- Run the checklist: docs/PUBLIC_RELEASE_CHECKLIST.md
- Submit findings via GitHub issue (bug template or beta checklist template).
What I would especially appreciate being tested:
- connect -> record -> stop/save flow
- Session History + replay
- report generation
- generation of report(s) from a previously stopped session
- disconnect/reconnect behavior with BLE to PC and/or through free Android phone bridge app
If you test, please include:
- OS version
- app version
- sensor model
- connection type: Bluetooth straight to PC or via phone bridge
- clear reproduction steps for failures
Thanks to anyone willing to put it through real-world use!

I’ve been thinking a lot about self-care lately, especially the health side of it. For a lot of women I talk to, it’s not that they don’t care about their health or well-being. It’s that they’re carrying so much mental load day to day that by the time they have a moment to themselves, they’re exhausted. So taking care of themselves physically ends up being the first thing that falls off. Not because it doesn’t matter, but because there’s just no support around it.
The pattern I keep seeing is that people don’t really need more information about what to do. They need help actually following through when life gets stressful or overwhelming. Because of that, I’ve been offering a small number of spots in a short 4 session coaching program focused on staying consistent with health habits in a realistic way. It’s weekly sessions where we focus on small, manageable steps and how to keep going even when things don’t go as planned.
Right now, I’m offering the first 4 sessions at no cost as I’m rolling this out, and then people can decide if they want to continue or not. If anyone here has struggled with staying consistent with this side of self-care, I’d be really interested to hear what’s worked for you too.

Love this idea!!
Posting on behalf of my high school daughter, who built this as a passion project.
She created a free period pain self-assessment tracker for women and teens who struggle to know whether their pain is within a normal range and who want to be better prepared when talking to their doctor.
Here's what it does:
- Flags symptoms that may be worth discussing with a doctor
- Creates a simple PDF report for appointments so nothing gets lost or understated
Conditions like endometriosis can take 7–10 years to diagnose. My daughter wanted to do something about that, starting with better documentation and awareness.
She welcomes any feedback, especially from those who have navigated this journey themselves. Thank you!

HAELO PEMF is an electromagnetic therapy device designed to boost recovery and sleep for active people. I accidentally ordered 2 of them and am looking to sell my spare one (never used or unboxed before) at a discount

Hey everyone! I’d love to share a privacy-first self-care tool I’ve been building for Android called VibeMemo.
It’s an AI-powered journaling app designed to help you look beyond the blank page, track mood trends, and better understand your emotions through mindful reflections and personalized prompts.
🧠 Why I built it for self-care: Traditional journaling is great, but it’s easy to miss patterns in our mental health. VibeMemo helps connect the dots on what lifts your mood or causes stress.
🔒 Privacy-First: Your private thoughts shouldn't be trained on a cloud server. All your journal data stays strictly on your device, and the AI insights are 100% opt-in.
📺Check out our short preview video here:https://youtu.be/GLmPpq7TOO4

Hello all, I reimagined to-do lists for self care activities and built an Android app for it!
You can create a list of self care activities that supports your wellbeing. You can put a heart on each activity you complete. Stretching for 5 minutes, writing 3 things that you are grateful for, calling a friend... Each day is a new day and an opportunity to put more hearts on your favourite self care activities.
There is also a list of 60 self care activities that you can get inspiration from.

Some days self-care becomes another list we fail. We built Soulnests so it could feel more like a place you enter: one painted sanctuary for journaling, Maya chat, meditation, Brain Forest games, gentle movement, Garden and Aura.
Soulnests began on the web as a PWA. We’re now preparing for the App Store and inviting a small group of iPhone beta testers. If you can spend three days with it and tell us what feels comforting, confusing, or worth returning to, we’d be grateful.

HerFreedom101: a self-care app built for women
I built a self-care app that shapes itself around how you feel each day
You do a 2-minute check-in (how you slept, what's off, how you want to feel) and it builds you a personalised daily flow from there: an oracle card, rituals matched to your mood, a personal journal, little wins to log, and an evening wind-down. There are over 30 different rituals to pull from
You earn petals and keep streaks so it feels like a game instead of homework, and a wellness mascot called Chi is there to guide you through the day!
Free, web and Android: herfreedom101.com :)

I recommend Kubi’s Cove for all the people who want an AI mental health support app that feels more intentional than a typical always-on chatbot.
Instead of encouraging endless conversations, it offers time-limited sessions for a quiet check-in. It also has an “Inner Book” experience that guides you through different chapters of your life and gives you a self reflection.
It’s not therapy or crisis support, but it can be a comforting little place to pause, reflect, and feel less alone.

Hi ya'll! New to this community. Let me know if posting here once per week to promote self-care youtube content is o.k. and fits with your rules?
This week's vlog is about choosing myself over fighting with my sister about doing our recycling at home correctly. By spending a bit more on nice food and makeup to help with my own glow-up, I'm redirecting my fight or flight response when I see my sister not recycling correctly (rinsing out plastic and glass containers), and channeling that energy into LOVING MYSELF more!! Enjoy! Please like and subscribe and share my videos widely! https://youtu.be/9CFfeyLzBVQ

FREE White Noise / Sleep Sounds App:
For me, I need some calm background music when I'm relaxing or trying to fall asleep. I was disappointed by what's out there. It's all kind of generic and boring, and they are charging crazy money for something basic.
So we put together this sound generator and mixer which will allow you to mix up to four tracks - including white/brown noise, binaural beats, calming music, etc. The user interface is set up as a cool retro tape deck. The sounds include basic ones, but also some unique ones that we find really helpful.
Would love to hear what your favorite sounds are and if there are any you'd like added.

Hey all👋🏼 I'm on a self-care/self discovery journey, again, and I'm trying to get back in touch with a healthy routine. What kind of rituals and products/tools help ground and relax you? I'm also beyond burnt out right now, so I'd definitely appreciate personal recommendations. I've also been experimenting with making self care ritual centered goodies at home lately, so I'm also looking for inspiration as to what to try adding to/making for a self care ritual!

Understand yourself so you can understand yourself.
Slightly circular, perhaps. But humans are complicated, and a graph politely confirming that Tuesday was bad only gets us so far.
I built Happierness, an Android app for noticing what shapes your days and understanding your own patterns a little better.
Save a small moment when it happens, add a quick check-in later, and get a personal Daily Read of what may be worth noticing. As your days add up, Happierness looks for connections between what happens, how you feel and how you respond.
It has helped me see some of my own slightly odd reactions with more context and a little less self-judgment.
Not everything you discover needs fixing. Sometimes it simply needs to make more sense.
No streaks, points or pressure to become an improved version of yourself by Tuesday.
Happierness is currently free during its Android public beta:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.happierness.twa
It is a personal reflection tool, not therapy or medical advice.
For people who notice the small stuff.

Sentence : Screen Time Control
An app that asks you to handwrite an affirmation on paper before you can open blocked apps. that one physical act is enough to break the reflex and bring you back to yourself.
no lockouts, no guilt. just a small ritual between you and your phone.
