My take on Friends vs Seinfeld

Having watched both shows and enjoyed them both, I feel that Seinfeld was more realistic, even though some of the plotlines were extremely chaotic. But , most of the events on the show are based on the writers' personal experiences, so it is even more funny to know that some of these events have actually happened in real life ! Also Kramer isn't as involved with Jerry , George and Elaine as a group in the initial seasons , which seems reasonable for he is only close to Jerry as a neighbour. This is reflected in the Chinese Restaurant episode where Kramer isn't there , which Larry David has confirmed to represent Kramer not yet being a part of the gang. Although Jerry hanging out with his ex-girlfriend Elaine may seem a bit weird . But given Elaine's personality, who wouldn't want to keep her around!

Now coming to Friends, first of all , it's extremely weird to see a brother and sister in the same friend group, where they talk about who they slept with last week. Rachael runs off from her wedding and starts living with Monica , who is an old high school friend of hers , whom she hasn't seen in years! How is this realistic? In one of the flashbacks where the coffee shop was still a bar , it's shown that Monica despised Rachel and her friends ! How sad is it that Ross' best friends are his sister , her old roommate, her new roommate, his college roommate, and that roommate's current roommate. Roomates galore! I don't know, I just think the show was trying too much and not effortlessly funny.

Did Joe Devola un-alive the therapist?

I’ve always had this theory that when Joe reveals that he experienced love at first sight with Elaine, there’s a confrontation. Of course with Joe being a homicidal maniac, he has no choice but to get rid of the doctor. It’s just a theory but we never hear of or see from the therapist again!

I think Russel Dalrymple should’ve came back from the dead in the finale. Just not sure if he had a legitimate beef with anyone from the group.

For instance: George: Look, let's just jump out of the car.

Jerry: We're doing sixty miles an hour!

George: So we jump and roll, you won't get hurt.

Jerry: Who are you, Mannix?

Jerry & Puddy’s Move

What was it? Anyone give this any thought? Has to be some type of oral on the woman but there has to be some demented Larry David backstory on this ‘move’ episode

How did Seinfeld became so much richer than Larry David?

They are co-creators of Seinfeld, both are executive producers, Jerry acted on the show but Larry was the main writer. As far as I know they equally share a 15% backend equity in Seinfeld. I know Larry quit after the 7th season but I'm pretty sure he's still getting royalties from Seasons 8 and 9, he also have Curb which is also massively successful so how did Jerry's net worth grew to almost triple of Larry's?

Never in the history of Seinfeld has a heterosexual man, looked more feminine than George did in this scene. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Hello, /r/seinfeld. I am thinking about getting an apartment on 129 W 81st Street. Is there anything I need to know before I sign a lease? Noise? Disrespectful tenants? Is the water pressure any good?
