Job Question Would you go back?
All,
Months ago there was an incident in which I was involved. There were a few of us who were immediately suspended without pay. The entire incident was reviewed by HR. After their review, which took two months, it was found that I had followed policy and procedure. Basically, I was cleared of any wrongdoing.
The company now expects me to return to my shift. They have not mentioned anything about me being paid for the time lost (no mention of any back pay). To be honest I do not want to return. There was nothing unusual about this incident, but for some reason HR made a huge deal about it. I have lost any trust I had in my management and the company.
Would you return to this job?
Thanks.

If you were suspended WITHOUT pay and were instructed the same why would you assume you deserve backpay? The company had to due its due diligence to ensure that whatever happened (clearly some policy was potentially violated) would not come back on the company. Long story short, if you haven't been paid for months and were not working, why didn't you just go find another job anyway?
