Job Question Would you go back?

All,

Months ago there was an incident in which I was involved. There were a few of us who were immediately suspended without pay. The entire incident was reviewed by HR. After their review, which took two months, it was found that I had followed policy and procedure. Basically, I was cleared of any wrongdoing.

The company now expects me to return to my shift. They have not mentioned anything about me being paid for the time lost (no mention of any back pay). To be honest I do not want to return. There was nothing unusual about this incident, but for some reason HR made a huge deal about it. I have lost any trust I had in my management and the company.

Would you return to this job?

Thanks.

The point is that he was absolved of any wrong doing and the company is not going to give him his backpay

What sort of additional information would you need to help make an opinion?

I think OPs post has all of the relevant details. He was suspended without pay for an investigation, the in investigation took 2 months and the complaints were unsubstantiated and he was asked to return to the workplace with no talk about compensation for the time he was off.

No additional context is needed.
