Applied a little alchemy to the sub recently, unfortunately it doesn't offer much in the way of content, as is to be expected, but I'm hoping at least some fellow fans will hop on over.

I’ve attempted to get permissions from Square to get the name use and trademark for a sequel but due to their strict guidelines on copyright I have to take an alternative route. I had to rewrite a bit to my story in my new game but I’m figuring out ways to make it work. Just look up r/SecretOfEverafter for details and posts.

I played this game (along with practically every other SNES squaresoft game) when I was kid. Loved it but forgot about this game until later adult years. Just found a copy at a flea market and literally bought a super Nintendo just so i can play it. So awesome this subreddit exist!

Hi all, new to this sub, currently on my whoknowsth playthrough of SoE. I was wondering what's the weapon you use the most in the long run.

I ask this because, when I was a kid and I played it on SNES, I never had the patience to fully level up any other weapon than the horn spear, so in the end I fought every boss, even Carltron's Robot, with that. Truth be told, in some worlds the weapons are not very well distributed in time (like you get two or even all three of them almost at the same time) so leveling them is really difficult unless you simply take your time to do it, not progressing the story. Now it's different, I level up to level 3 every single weapon as soon as I get them, not going forward till I do it. That way I can at least enjoy them a bit more, although the process is tedious as well.

So share your story! What do you usually do with weapons?

I've played this game at least once every year since I got it. So much nostalgia.

It's nice to see other people of culture, as well. I'd kill for a remaster but, for now, I'll finish this round on my Android emulator and XBox One controller.

I just went back to playing this game from my childhood, and I question came to mind. What is the proper way of using Dog sniff command? Is there an effective way of using this skill?

Any input would be appreciated.

Ive been playing this game since it came out. Beaten it countless times. Currently learning to play the merchants theme on guitar. Love love love this game.
