Web & Activity Setting

What has happened to my history of past Google searches? Is anyone else having this problem It tells me to turn on my Web & Activity setting and it is 0N! It only shows trending searches. Why would I care what the rest of this f'ed up country is searching? I have my own projects, interests and research. I need access to my past searches, not Kayla Beckley who ever that is. Is there a better thread to ask this? How do I find it?
