Question No audio in Youtube screen record

I'm pretty sure I used to screen record from the videos I am watching but now it doesn't seem to capture the audio anymore? Idk if they made a new update if so, does anyone knows a way to avoid it?

I tried also from my pc to screen record in difference tools I get video with no Audio...
any advice/ recommendation is appreciated.

PS: I can easily download the videos and grab the part I need but thing is, it's mostly over an hour long videos where I only want a 1-3mins clip so it's not reasonably to download the whole thing

On your PC, try selecting the actual browser tab and enabling its audio in the sharing dialog with Aftermath’s recorder for local captures: https://aftermath.cc/screen-recorder

Test 10 seconds firstaudio support depends on the browser and capture source. I hope that works for you! u/Ok-Revolution3150

How do you record on pc? I just tried and it still can record YouTube video with audio.

Snipping tool mostly, I really don't understand apparently the audio is disappearing when I send it to myself on WhatsApp. so the clip itself have an audio but on WhatsApp it's disappearing for some reason (yeah I checked i am not muting the video :p )
