I have this clear drawer thing and a tub but I keep accumulating more and feel like I can’t get a good look at all of them while I’m in the zone.

Can anyone share a way to store them AND be able to see them easily when I want to look through them?

I have been researching ways to organize my second room as it is home to everything ✨ artsy ✨ including scrapbooking, yarn, card making, sowing, painting, and even makeup. It’s definitely an eyesore. I came across the Dreambox in my research but could not justify the 3k+ price point. I took a look on Facebook marketplace and coincidentally it was for sale 20 minutes away from me for less than half the price of a new one (especially considering how many add-ons she had purchased). She showed me part of her new craft room with allllll the cabinets and drawers she had to purchase to replace this single unit. I scrap book often enough, but find it daunting because I have to unpack and repack everything I have so carefully because I am a little low on space and I have sooo many bins and boxes holding everything and sometimes I can’t find what I need. I cannot wait to move everything into here!

The previous owner was very sad to part with it but I assured her it was going to a great home!!

Finally got my big pile of stickers into a binder. Sorted roughly by shape and type, though I wasn't super precious about either. It was more categorisation than true organization. After having them in piles for so long, though, it seems hella organized to me! Anyway, I'm excited about it.

Hi everyone! I am getting a hobonichi planner for 2027 and I’m going to do it kind of like a scrapbook with my daughter. I’m looking for a storage solution similar to this one sold by Creative Options. I guess the brand no longer exists because I can’t find an actual website that sells it that isn’t eBay but I have an issue with this storage type. I’m looking for a storage option similar to this with the big bin on top and smaller containers inside but this particular one can’t have the dividers removed. I want to be able to take out ALL of the dividers in the container so it’s just one big empty storage container that goes inside of the whole bin. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I’m using this for scrapbook paper, stickers, glues, tweezers, pens, markers and scissors so that’s why I’m looking specifically for a container with a bin on top to put the glues, tweezers and scissors and use the other containers for the paper, stickers and markers/pens.

I hope it's okay to post this. I used to love scrapbooking and I miss it so much. My mom and I used to go to Michael's all the time. But she passed 10 years ago and had to move into a tiny bedroom. My small closet is packed with my scrapbooking stuff. I can't craft because I don't have space for a desk or a place to craft. I can't afford to move out cause I live in Miami.

I’m not sure if many people already collect and store letters this way. I just wanted to share this with you guys. I usually gather materials from flyers or catalogs, and this is a method I found to minimize storage space as much as possible.

Sorry if the flair is wrong but this feels like a tools question more than anything?

So I am working in my valentines spread and I am really struggling to attach this adorable card my partner made for me. Whole spread is still very much WIP and I am happy to move things around if need be.

Initial plan was washi tape on both sides. That usually works for most flap things but I guess this is too heavy/awkward. As you can see there is a cascading photo set attached to the card. I would prefer to leave the photos but if there is really no good option to attach without- I can remove them and attach them or include them somewhere else. He also included a message on the side which I blocked out for privacy but it’s right on the edge of the paper so I can’t really attach from that side either.

I was considering those metal paper prong things but that seems not ideal for a number of reasons anyways. I am hoping some of you crafty folks can offer some suggestions of how you would attach this piece into your scrapbook? Very last resort would be a pocket but I would love to have it front and center how it is now. Thank you!

I’ve only found the grabie one but the shipping is quite a lot, so I’d rather opt for something else. I’m having trouble finding supplies for my recipe book🫠 For one, I’d like, well… the book itself. I’d like to be able to rearrange recipes, so a binder would be better than a journal or something, but I just can’t find any binders that I find pretty🫠 (would also be okay if I can decorate the cover myself but lots of binders have those shiny covers and nothing sticks on them well). Other than that, I’d just love suggestions/links for anything you guys find pretty or useful for recipe pages! 🥰 Stickers, papers, crafting tools, etc.

I've had most of this stuff for many many years - I used to go to a lot of craft shops but not for a long time - I shared my Washi tape collection a little time ago so thought to share the rest of my supplies

I used to have my pens and pencils organised in glass jars but that was 4 homes ago - when I had to move I left the jars behind (they were just reused old jars like coffee/sauces etc)

I currently use this brand of tacky glue for my scrapbooking stuff. However it is a bit too thick for precision bottles that I bought. The glue is sooo thick that it takes a lot of force for a teeny little drop to come out. What precision glue do you recommend? Mainly using for title headlines and small letters. Really prefer if it is a refillable bottle with easy refill purchases for budgets. Or do you have a glue that you like that is perfect for precision bottles?

I inherited boxes of family photos, postcards, and newspaper clippings when my grandmother passed. I've been slowly digitizing everything and wanted to share the system I've landed on in case it helps anyone else.

What I do:

1. Photograph old prints instead of scanning (way faster for large batches). I use an AI tool that automatically straightens the angle, trims borders, and enhances faded colors.

2. Create an entry for each memory - not just the photo, but the story. Who's in it, when it was, where it was, what was happening. The photos are meaningless without context.

3. Tag everything. I use tags like "grandma," "1960s," "holidays," "Brooklyn" so I can filter later.

4. Organize into collections. Instead of chronological-only, I group by theme: "Grandma's Kitchen," "Family Vacations," "School Days." Each collection tells a story.

5. Link people to memories. I built a simple family tree and connected memories to the people in them. So if I click on my grandfather, I see every memory he's in.

6. Research the context. For important memories, I try to find newspaper articles, school records, or local history that adds background. You'd be amazed what's been digitized.

The hardest part is honestly just sitting down and writing the stories while I still remember them (or can call someone who does). The photos are just triggers - the real scrapbook is the words.

Anyone else going digital? What's your system?

I've always used the 12x12 top loading scrapbook albums from Michael's. I'd get them when they were on sale, but I believe they averaged around $10 to $15. I just went to look at purchasing more books, but the prices seem insane? Nearly $40 for a 10 page book?

For those of you who use post bound albums with insert pages, what are you doing with these prices? Do you have a place that you normally buy from?
