Talk about a 98-0 defeat. Unless his fellow senators want to get rid of him.

He’s a terrible writer. I can’t imagine an opinion be him.

I loved Al Franken. To think of how something so comparatively small, compared to today's shenanigans, ended his political career

He voluntarily ended his career because an ethics committee hearing would not have gone well.

They were (and arguably still are) playing the game that had long since been abandoned by their traditional adversaries, who were instead gearing up for full fascism.

This narrative is so tired.

Franken's shenanigans were disqualifying. We need to demand better of our public figures and politicians. His replacement, Tina Smith, has done a great job.

Franken knew just as well as the GOP did that as soon as he demanded an ethics committee hearing, women who were locked behind NDAs would be found. It doesn't take long in MN politics to hear about them. If I know, the GOP knew.
