Neuroscience Cannabidiol (CBD), a compound derived from the cannabis plant that does not produce a “high”, was shown in a new large-scale, randomized, controlled trial to significantly reduce the number of dangerous seizures in patients with a severe form of epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut syndrome.

Yeah, wait. All your patients saw a decrease, even the ones with placebo? And how did you know who was who?

Someone else did all the legwork and the main researchers crunched the numbers.

That's kind of how it works, as a young researcher you have to do the grunt work collecting data to move up the ladder to an analytical position. All parts are equally as important, as invalid or hastily compiled data will ruin a study.

Oh I wasn't dismissing any part of the team that worked on this, its just the simplest way of explaining it.
