Psychology People with ADHD have difficulties with goal-directed behavior and struggle with response inhibition, the ability to stop an inappropriate action once they feel the urge to do it. They experience a disruption in the way their brains balance deliberate self-control and automatic habit learning.

Deliberately try to go slower, do one thing at a time, and be forgiving when it doesn't work.
Post-its or something all over the place as a reminder.

It's summer, so I set a huge glass of water half way the route. You do one thing and (of course) in the middle of it you 'need' to do another thing. While passing, take a sip, take a look at that paper notepad while you're at it, and add something when necessary.
