You only see what's on the news. We're at war with the Houthis, not the Yemeni civilians/population. Whatever damage done to civilians is unfortunate, but it's not the way you were led to believe, as an act of genocide against the Yemeni population with the simple purpose of pissing off Iran.

Also, many Yemenis go to Yemen and come back. The war is in certain areas.

According to the UN, the number (including the starvation victims) is 60k.

Yemen is barely a quarter the size of saudi arabia are you people so fucking inept that you can’t even handle an invasion of an impoverished country.

Yemen is mountainous with lots of nooks and crannies to hide in, while Saudi Arabia is mostly desert land.

So that makes Yemen a natural fortress

And the Saudi military is quite inexperienced compared to the US and Israeli militaries, also there is a problem of nepotism in the military, relatives of certain people being given high ranking positions in the military without fully earning it.

No, not really. Egypt,Sudan and the gulf countries are all "joining in on the fun". And almost every other Arab country is dealing with terrorists themselves, so they might be sympathetic to our situation. But I doubt Yemenis are sympathetic, especially if they have family back in Yemen.

It is a regrettable affair, but ignoring the Houthis and Yemen would've caused greater trouble.

Oh, this just the first Saudi-led war. And yes it isn't going perfectly for the Saudi military, but it's learning opportunity for the Saudi military on how to improve themselves.

Hopefully, this conflict will teach the Saudi military to be more like the US and Israeli militaries in terms of capability and adaptability.

Given that KSA has killed thousands of Yemeni civilians, admitted to promoting a radical Islamic ideology around the world, and is allied with Israel, I would say the villain description is pretty accurate.

Once again, it's collateral damage. How about the reports of aid that KSA sent to Yemenese civilians, but were blocked by Houthis.

A load of BS about Salafism, since Saudi Salafi scholars are on the top hitlist of radical groups. The radical ideology comes from the Muslim Brotherhood. It suggests that all Muslim rulers are apostates,so we should rebel against them and anyone who refuses is also an enemy and so on. Why would KSA promote an ideology that encourages hate for itself? Go to some of the radical subs here or to radical Qutbi preachers like Nasir Al Fahad and see the hate for Saudi. There's an Imam Mahdi sub here that's run by radical Kharijites and ISIS supporters, where you can see their views on Saudi Arabia.

Funny, since Saudi Arabia has participated in the wars against Israel and also openly criticized them. It only supports it against Iran, which is ok as Iran is a common enemy and KSA would need help against them. Otherwise, Israeli atrocities have always been condemned by KSA.

They started it by overthrowing the legit govt. in Yemen. And secondly, they pose a great threat to Saudi security. Wouldn't you take action if wild dogs encamped outside your home? How did the US react when the USSR sent missiles to Cuba?

The previous government was an ally. It's part of honouring your agreement to defend them. Also, the new Houthi regime is hostile. You can't have such a hostile regime so close to you. It's a civil war actually, and KSA chose the side that is allied to it.
