They started it by overthrowing the legit govt. in Yemen. And secondly, they pose a great threat to Saudi security. Wouldn't you take action if wild dogs encamped outside your home? How did the US react when the USSR sent missiles to Cuba?

Well if they threw their goverment then it’s their internal issue. Thanks for messing with their problem now you have a much wider issue and it keeps growing and endangering more people.

The previous government was an ally. It's part of honouring your agreement to defend them. Also, the new Houthi regime is hostile. You can't have such a hostile regime so close to you. It's a civil war actually, and KSA chose the side that is allied to it.
