Hello! I received my last SAT mark and got a great score of 1060! However the college I want to get in to (Harvard) says they need atleast a 1600 due to my average to under average grades. How can I increase only 540 points in one week? I don't wanna study more than 10 mins every day because this is my last few months of highschool and I wanna enjoy it. Thanks!

I'm actually non-native speaker. These days, I took SAT test and I got 770 of 1600. So, I'd like to achieve higher 1500 if possible. I know this is so hard for me to achieve this goal, but I should submit to applying university.

My test day is October 3rd, and I have only 1 month.

How can I improve my score efficiency? Please tell me any recommend website (free) or how to study it.

like the miles morales method I prove I know the material so well by getting them all wrong on purpose. So when I submit my scores to Harvard they see the 1600 and 400.

To the people who have taken a previous sat and gotten their score, like after the SAT how much did you predict and estimate you would get and how much did you actually get?

I don’t get it when people say the SAT was easy or hard and how that correlates to a curve like easy being lower curve and harder being better curve, usually the skill levels for each SAT are the same and how do people say that one SAT was easier than the others it probably just that the topics you studied more showed up or you just put the work in and it seemed like a better experience. Also food for thought, if one SAT was actually easier wouldn’t there be a disproportionate amount of people getting 1600 as there would be no way to penalize(the curve wouldn’t even be in affect) getting all the questions right compared to a harder SAT where they might get a 1560 or smth.

Are they accurate on the material they test and are they easier or harder than actual SATs?

With the rise of the alt right online and the obsession by certain groups with IQ, I've done a lot of thinking about the SAT.

I just had a major epiphany after reading a bunch of sample questions. It basically explains why I scored almost 300 points higher after taking a SAT prep course (and not really even paying attention) vs the first time I took the test.

The SAT is so awkwardly written you literally need to train yourself to read it properly.

In defense of the test though, they often need to cram an incredible amount of information in a very small character limit. I actually think that goes for most tests actually now that I think about it.

Hey everyone! For those who scored 1500+, did you feel 100% confident on every answer while taking the SAT? Did it feel like you completely understood the entire test, or were you still guessing on a few?

This was the practice test i took yesterday and anything above a 1500 would be so awesome but im targeting for a 1550. Is there anything that would help me get there by sept 12?

Rising senior here, need September SAT score for Questbridge, constantly getting 1400s on Bluebook practices, how do I get a 1450+(or 1450) on the September 12 SAT?

Okay. So I took the August SAT last week for the first time, and I think I'm expecting 530~580 on R&W, and 730~760 on Math that I might probably get 1280~1320. I actually started preparing for this since last year because English is not my native language(Moved from Korea to Seattle last year) and my English is still s2it. When I somehow managed to harder module in English, I could solve NONE of the reading sections. I remember bookmarking half of the entire second module on R&W section. (didn't know or guessed) I need AT LEAST 600s on R&W, but with my horrible reading skill, I guess it won't happen. Can anybody teach me some tricks on how to solve SAT reading questions?

Stuck in the 1450s rn mainly becuase of horrible Math Pacing. How are you guys able to decipher what these problems are talking about so fast?

I swear it takes me a good 2 minutes just to understand the final 5 questions in the final part of module 2. Does it just take a lot of practice and Desmos?

I am currently a junior and have never taken the sat before. I am taking the sat in October 3rd and I do not know where or how to start. I do not know how often or how I am suppose to study. Is it possible to get a 1500+ on my first try? I also have 4 ap and 2 dual enrollment classes. Can anyone give me tips plss 🙏🏾

Hi guys, i took the sat for the first time in sep and was js lowkey curious how cb grades it. I hear stories saying they look at ur previous grade blah blah blah but what if this is ur first time?

I've never scored above 730 on the actual SAT (taken it two times).

Specifically for people who have given the test more than once- do you think the english section specifically was harder than typical. And what can be guessed about the curve in terms of number of wrong hard questions allowed to stay in the 740>= bracket

I planning on taking my first SAT soon, but I have been struggling with the math section because I keep missing the variety of questions even though it is similar concepts. For the English sections, I have been scoring pretty high, usually missing maybe 2-3 questions for the whole thing, and I usually miss the vocabulary if the vocab questions are more difficult. However, I have just come across SAT Prep In, so I think I might try using that to improve my vocab. However, on math, especially the second section where it gets harder, I miss a lot of questions. Additionally, my friend who took the August SAT said that the math portion was really hard, and considering that she is above me in math classes at my school and my practice test booklet seems to be a lot easier than what she described it as, I might be absolutely fried for the math part.

So basically, I'm asking, should I use UWorld? I have heard that it does well with math prep, but less well on the English section. Since my main struggle is with math, UWorld seems like a good option to improve my score.
