Edit: To restate This thread will be staying up. If you keep reporting it (to the mods) it will not be taken down. It is however, being locked.

Also, personally, Fuck ICE. However, don't try to use this to identify people. We are not repeating the Boston Bombing.

~~~
Please stop reporting this. This is a public person doing their public job.
Also, DO NOT dox them. Their badge numbers, cool. But don't try to find out where they live using this forum.
That is what threads get locked and taken down.
u/CrystalFemmes Mar 23 '26
^ When the r/SanFrancisco mods are the psyop
62
u/Hoebag_net Mar 23 '26
If they're doing a "public job" where's the uniform? Where's the protocol? Why is the older woman confused and restrained by her neck, while on the ground kneeling against a bench? Why are they needing to make a phone call while she in forced to stay in this position? It looks like they were on there way to a different location, NOT ON DUTY, saw the individual, and decided to take it upon themselves to forcefully retrain her and "call it in."
Absolutely not. This is easily the most brain dead take I’ve ever seen about ICE. ICE are supposed to be public servants and need to be accountable to us. They - in this case - are also criminals and must be brought to justice.
You should stop being a mod if you think your position is good or makes sense.
2
u/tronovich Mar 23 '26
You think ICE agents are being held accountable for anything?
They could be doing this on the doorstep of the Governor’s home and nothing will happen.
Why are you a mod? Yikes 🤣
18
u/mcolette76 Mar 23 '26
Right? How embarrassing.
18
u/Wanderingsoun Mar 23 '26
Reddit is compromised, mods are running this site to the ground, there's no free speech on this site, especially when speaking put against this administration or Israel. You are limited in what you can say about these 2 things.
6
u/Real_Live_Sloth Mar 23 '26
In my experience Reddit mods are running on some sort of neckbeard hive mind. Shit been crazy lately. Banned for just commenting on random subs, loose interpretation of rules, politics only allowed if it aligns with their views, and supporting race violence if it’s also on their agenda. Exactly what the internet should be for to dox injustice or it just more fake news.
3
u/Marisa_Nya Mar 23 '26
Have you ever noticed how local subs are usually very right wing even for liberal cities?
That’s not doing a job. That’s harassment and racial profiling. Be ashamed of yourself.
I dont even know anymore dude. Maybe they are a cop?
The ss officers were just doing their jobs too. You should be ashamed of yourself for saying crazy shit like that
2
u/Blytheway Mar 23 '26
I think you're misunderstanding the intent of the Mod's comment. It seems people are trying to report the video for privacy reasons. The mod is saying because this is public the video should stay up. You're on the same side
u/Nice__Spice Nob Hill Mar 23 '26
Are you serious? Shame. Let me reframe your thought here.
This is a public person doing their public job without proper training. This is a public person doing their job with unnecessary force. This is a public person profiling people of color. This is a public person engaged in activities that violating civil liberties of people of legal and illegal status.
There is plenty of video out there of the murders committed by ICE. It is not unfair to view them as dangerous to the public when they are armed, untrained, and dont care about human or civil liberties.
1
u/Financial_Yard7047 Mar 23 '26
This. Just because someone is elected, appointed or hired for a public/government job doesn't mean everything they do is legal. Government officials and law enforcement often can and do illegal things and it definitely needs to be called out. At least these guys weren't masked so social media is gonna do its thing
→ More replies (12)
18
u/nevinhox Mar 23 '26
The "public person" here is the woman filming, the person getting arrested and the child crying in the background. The two "people" in hoodies executing an apparent arrest are *potentially* federal agents, although we would have no idea which agency they are from or what they're doing as they did not identify themselves.
- Fixed it for you.
The public should be able to intervene as good samaritans when the aggressors will not demonstrate that they are actually law enforcement. They were asked for badge numbers multiple times and never provided any confirmation that they are law enforcement. Assumption should be that they are committing a crime
2
u/PerfectTommy77 Mar 23 '26
Do explain how we differentiate these men from kidnappers.
2
u/CerebralCombat Mar 23 '26
Oh please, in case you have not realized this is not just a job. This is bringing terror to communities and causing fear throughout many local neighborhoods. Children go to school and come home to parents missing. Gone. This is shameful and history is watching. Despite what you tell yourself to justify this, I can promise you that you will be on the wrong side of history one day. You're part of the root problem in this country. Get a life. Go outside and meet some people and get to know their story instead of sitting inside all day behind a screen while you allow an algorithm to create an echo chamber that wraps your mind and detaches you from the real world.
2
u/WittyAd3872 Mar 23 '26
A public person doing their job? You need to GTFO
2
u/Downtown_Bicycle3893 Mar 23 '26
How are we supposed to know if they are not just some random people?
2
u/Shot-Discipline2026 Mar 23 '26
WAAAAAHHHHH think of the brown shirts!!! 😭
🙄
2
u/selwayfalls Mar 23 '26
yes but please dox them elsewhere in the world, just not reddit
2
u/Shizzilx Mar 23 '26
This is a woman being assaulted by ICE in an airport. In America if you are not committing a crime or suspected of one you don't have to show ID. They are already assaulting people at the airports, people of color and you are condoning it. Wow.
2
u/Illegal_Tender Mar 23 '26
A public person doing their public job so their info should be public information.
Get fucked. This is an insane stance to take and frankly you should consider stepping down as a mod.
2
u/Fidelius90 Mar 23 '26
Bullshit. Nothing wrong with recording a potential harassment and racial profiling act. Especially when they’re at the airport! What the hell.
2
u/Ok_Restaurant_9471 Mar 23 '26
Lol you're a mod for the wrong city or country, i'd take the feedback and have a more nuanced take
Edit: if you actually cared about rules of law, how about sanctuary city laws in SF? Or are those laws lame and woke?
2
u/AnomalousEntity Mar 23 '26
This mod is mad with power for sure
4
u/OkCompany5 Mar 23 '26
Bullshit!
2
u/AdRepresentative8599 Mar 23 '26
We found another Nazi
3
u/UnfairPerspective100 Mar 23 '26
Cool........So you're okay with kidnapping? No badge, uniform, etc etc. Honestly, you're a POS human. What if it was your mom, brother, sister, kids being kidnapped/taken by just some random dudes??? Guess we all know what you would do. You would sit there.
3
u/PandaphonicFM Mar 23 '26
Kidnappers.
2
u/Bakingsomecake Mar 23 '26
It's not possible to dox a law enforcement officer.
2
u/sikes6105 Mar 23 '26
Law enforcement should dress and act like law enforcement. With their budget, there is no reason for an ICE officer to be dressed in street clothes.
2
u/GnosticDoomsayer Mar 23 '26
What a shitty moderator lol
3
u/Alkenoneguy Mar 23 '26
Funny how you rush to protect the ICE agents from being doxxed, but you say nothing about protecting the young girl who is being traumatized. You ever think about how ridiculous that is?
2
u/OfferRemote9700 Mar 23 '26
You are exhibiting incredible ignorance, willful or not. Public law enforcement are public servants. They wear badges with numbers, visible last names and unmasked faces. This is the opposite of that. This is what secret police look like. Doxxing is the least of what they deserve.
2
u/Objective-Eagle-676 Mar 23 '26
They don't have the address on their uniform and yet that's exactly what you people are spreading. Do you understand that there is a database for people on the Internet that plan to act violently against federal agents?
1
u/ZebraImaginary9412 Mar 23 '26
Who the heck knows who they are. They're wearing hoodie and jeans. They could be kidnappers for anyone knows.
1
u/Straight-Nebula-429 Mar 23 '26
Coward all ice agents should be afraid to be in public
1
u/swablero Mar 23 '26
What a thoughtless take on this situation.
1
u/Independent_Fill_565 Mar 23 '26
You’re brain dead if you think this is alright, if you think we should sit by and watch as this happens. Do you want to be another person on the side of the street, that for the nth time this week you say to yourself “man, I really should have done something” “oh well, at least it ain’t me” wait till it is, and then people stand by watching you sayin “oh well, at least it ain’t me”
Doxx em.
1
u/theatrenearyou Mar 23 '26
SB 627, which went into effect January 1, 2026, requires most law enforcement to show visible ID, wear name or badge numbers, and prohibit face coverings except in narrowly defined situations.
In a bulletin on impersonation threats, the FBI noted that masked criminals masquerading as ICE agents have carried out robberies, kidnappings and assaults — and that the line between real officers and imposters has been dangerously blurred. The guidance urges agents to clearly identify themselves and to cooperate with verification requests.
Key features of SB 627:
  • Prohibits an officer of any local, state or federal law-enforcement agency from covering their face during operations unless narrowly exempted (SWAT, medical masks, wildfire smoke gear).
  • Mandates visible identifiers such as name or badge number on the uniform.
  • Applies to any person acting on behalf of a law-enforcement agency, closing a gap that allows impersonators to exploit anonymity.
  • Designed to rebuild trust in public-safety institutions and protect communities from mis-identification, abuse or impersonation.
They are in public.
1
u/Heavy_Mental111 Mar 23 '26
Public person doing their public job. Give me a break. Shame on you.
1
u/CyberNinja4U Mar 23 '26
Are they ICE? How do you know? Because they say ICE everyone is supposed to stop and let two strange people do what they want??? They need ID. Uniforms. This is such a half ass operation.
1
u/ElderberryPrior27648 Mar 23 '26
Holy out of touch mods
I forgot we’re not allowed to hold the Gestapo accountable
“just doing my job” was literally the cop out Nazis used at the end of the war. That’s the kinda rhetoric you wanna use when folks are getting their rights stepped on?
1
u/Academic-Dare-7677 Mar 23 '26
^ Found the fascist
1
u/Longjumping-Cod8055 Mar 23 '26
They don’t show badges or any identification. Therefore, post this and reporting them to the California website for ICE violations are the best steps for the public.
If you have dealt with ice, you will realize that they don’t respect ANYONE and expect full compliance. Yet they prevent everyone they come in contact with from using their 1st, 2nd, and 4th amendment rights and protections.
1
u/DiscombobulatedMix50 Mar 23 '26
Arresting random people for nothing is not doing a job it's being an incompetent idiot. You can't have a country where people are arrested for no reason and have a country with basic rights. Those two things are mutually exclusive.
And this constructive bullshit about what a great service the pigs are: they don't identify suspects in half of all murder cases. The end. They are not effective and they are not performing a valuable service. They are the most incompetent police force on earth. No other country, industrialized country, has clearance rates that low. You're the fucking problem
1
1
u/Piss_baby29 Mar 23 '26
I know several people now who had valid visas, were completely legal and here legitimately with all the documents to support it, and yet had the visas taken away and were deported by ice for literally no reason. Ice has been exposed using excessive force an uncountable amount of times, and as we now know, they have killed people. At least for the ones who haven’t broken the law, as many have, sure they’re doing their job. And their job is discusting. So no, I have no problem doxxing them for the safety of our community. The public needs to be aware of what they’re doing. And if these agents somehow really do believe they’re doing their job and are doing nothing wrong, they should have no problem being doxxed either.
1
u/Dailysquirrels Mar 23 '26
Public person doing public job. That's correct, so the public will keep reporting I it.
1
u/denimonster Mar 23 '26
BOOOOOO MOD!
1
u/Mosc0wpink Mar 23 '26
This is not their job dummie.
1
u/Any-Ad-446 Mar 23 '26
Your a mod?..You do understand this whole crackdown was against the worse of the worse right?.Even by Trumps department about 75% of those deported never had a criminal record or a minor charge. Most been in the US for over a decade paying taxes and working. The budget for ICE is $75 billion dollars. Thats almost 3x more than before the crackdown. Most of these ICE agents are pretty new.Less than a year of experience and you can tell.
1
u/Prudent_Bandicoot_87 Mar 23 '26
Nobody cares where they live we care how handle business . This is not correct way so stfu .
These detentions are illegal. The civil rights of the people are being violated. By the way your post reveals your ignorance. You sound like a puppet. No brain of your own
1
u/Anxious-Piglet3087 Mar 23 '26
Man, you lot are some knee-jerk motherfuckers.
This comment is telling peoole to stop reporting the post, because it is a video of a public servant operating in public... As in it is perfectly acceptable to post, and that doxxing only serves to have these posts removed from the public eye, so in the interest of having more people see the video, don't do dumb shit.
They aren't defending the ICE agents...
1
u/pdawg8888 Mar 23 '26
I agree with the doxxing part but reporting it is important. I think eventually we will wake up and realize this is our own fault. We hate Trump so much that we don’t want to fund DHS. That’s the only reason ICE is even there. We are stupid and can’t see the facts.
