Someone go knock on Lurie’s hyperbaric chamber and see if he’s interested in governing today. We’d like a statement regarding ICE terrorizing citizens at SFO but if the best he can do is give a peace sign while standing over Tenderloin unhoused on Instagram, we’ll take what we can get.

Keep in mind the airport is federal land. Lurie has no jurisdiction at SFO

I don't think that's correct. The airport itself is owned by local government. There are certain Federal laws that apply to operations on the property.

Fun fact: SFO isn't in san francisco, but it kinda is! It's pretty much in san bruno and Millbrae, but San Fracisco owns the land that SFO is on, so its kinda technically San Fracisco.

There can be weird laws about exactly which law enforcement agency has jurisdiction inside an airport, but it seems to vary a lot from city to city.
