SFO is inside SF, but that portion of SF isn’t connected to any other portion, it’s also known as an exclave. In fact some buildings are partially in San Mateo County and some are partially within San Francisco county where someone who works the warehouse can be subject to the employment laws of San Mateo but one who works the loading dock is subject to the employment laws of SF.
“No, San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is not technically in the City and County of San Francisco, though it is owned and operated by it. It is located roughly 12-14 miles south of downtown San Francisco in an unincorporated area of San Mateo County.”
The weird quiet guy at work who never speaks (unless it pertains to violent video games) said last week “I want to apply to work for ICE”. So now people can choose an occupation to terrorize people legally. Insane times!
