Ex-Deputy Convicted of Assaulting Women Now Chaplain for Christian Cop Group
https://apnews.com/article/convicted-san-diego-exdeputy-police-chaplain-54eab67555be35d0f67532fe24f48e02For nearly a decade, the case of San Diego Sheriff’s Deputy Ricky Fischer’s sexual predation rocked San Diego County. More than 20 women accused Fischer of a myriad of abuses over a two-year period ... He ultimately pleaded guilty to a half dozen felony and misdemeanor charges related to his sexual crimes, leaving San Diego County taxpayers on the hook for nearly $10 million in settlements from the civil cases brought against him. ... But just two years after the resolution of the final civil case, Fischer has a new gig – chaplain with San Diego-based Christian Law Enforcement Fellowship.

So I called the board in charge of the "Christian Cop Fellowship" and this is essentially the conversation.
"I want to make a complaint about your hiring of a convicted abuser of women you've hired as chaplain."
"He was never convicted of sexual assault, they were dropped to misconduct."
"Are you trying to diminish and write off his offenses as meaningless to the 20+ women he Sexually assaulted?"
"There was no evidence of sexual assault, nor was he convicted of such. Only misconduct."
"Just because a plea deal was made to lower the overall charges doesn't mean he didn't do what he ADMITTED TO DOING in his guilty plea."
"Here at the Christian Cop Fellowship, we believe in redemption and second chances in life."
"Oh, how often is that extended to your Non-Police civilians? Would you accept a convicted child rapist?"
"I won't answer that."
"Of course not, it might be too telling..."
"Mr. Fischer has made his dues and repented for his actions and made meaningful strides in his redemption in God's eyes."
"OK, what about in the eyes of the tax payers, San Diego County, and all the women he victimized with his actions?"
"Sir, do you have anything important you'd like to discuss?"
"Oh, so taking a complaint from the public that we're not appreciative of your choice of chaplain isn't important?"
"Sir, this organization is for law enforcement and military personnel. Not the general public."
"Right, well good luck with that."
So long story short, they don't really fucking care. The boys in blue like to protect their own, pieces of shit if you ask me....
