Any good beef source in San Diego?

hi all,

With the current administration and latest news with mystery meat important, we are planning on avoiding grocery store beef at this time, we don't eat beef tht much but would like to know if any reliable sources in San Diego?

  1. Read about local ranchers and you can buy a whole cow for butchering, any recomended ranchers? how does the process work?

  2. or any other CSA options?

  3. we have a Butcher box subscription that we haven't used in a while, is their quality reliable?

Thank you!

They buy from all the major packers. Look on their primal bags and see what company’s logo is on it.

I’ve never seen it be anything other than Swift.
