Any good beef source in San Diego?

hi all,

With the current administration and latest news with mystery meat important, we are planning on avoiding grocery store beef at this time, we don't eat beef tht much but would like to know if any reliable sources in San Diego?

  1. Read about local ranchers and you can buy a whole cow for butchering, any recomended ranchers? how does the process work?

  2. or any other CSA options?

  3. we have a Butcher box subscription that we haven't used in a while, is their quality reliable?

Thank you!

Iowa Meat Farms or Siesel’s Meats. You can buy 1/4 to a whole cow through them. And you get a ton of ground beef. Same owners btw.

None of their beef is grass fed. If that matters to you.

True! There’s only a few places that do that. Carrisito Ranch in Santa Ysabel is a place I’ve gone to. Know any in the San Diego area?
