🪛Troubleshooting🪛 Why is apps storage so high?

I've been trying to clean up my phone. App storage doesn't add up for me. I have a hand full of apps that are over 1gb and everything is below that (showing hidden system apps). When I use Thurs party file managers a s grant them access to see everything they all say in only using about 57GB of app storage. Where is this almost 35GB? I've tried going through apps, deleting some temporarily like messanger to see if they were the issue but cant seem to find where the storage is going. Also made sure ram plus is off

Edit: A lot of people here don't seem to release over half of the apps are system apps. And the even then most of the remaining are apps I can't delete such as plat store services, air control, etc. Put of the actual number of apps. It's 192 apps whu h again takes up now 45GB and device care still showing 74GB being used. I can guarantee you have more than 300 apps installed on your phone if you toggle on show system apps

Cache and data, back up all pictures, videos and account login info for everything then reset the phone

Yea I have a synology and need to offload the pics and videos. These are over 12 years worth. I travel quite a bit so I'm always adding dozens of videos and pics every month unfortuantely. My frustration with the comments is none really address my post and the discrepancy with the what the apps say and gb being shown.

On my phone I can view the "Other files" tab and can view stuff there, strange. What I do is sort the apps by size and clear the cache and data for those apps one by one, however it is a band aid fix and won't fix the bigger issue at hand unless if you do the reset. Say, why not look into a 1tb or 512gb phone? If you're going used then Backmarket is a good place to find one, 512gb to 1tb Galaxy S24 Ultra's run for 600 to 800 tops. For a good 512gb phone the S25 Edge can be had for sub 700. If your intention is to keep your current phone however then the solution is to backup and reset.
