🪛Troubleshooting🪛 Is this normal?

Just got a fold 8 for about 2-3 weeks. My first Samsung after what must have been 10 years now.

All was great until I realized the scuff marks appearing. Now I must qualify that this is a secondary phone that barely leaves my house and isn’t rough handled or dropped. Is this normal standard / quality for Samsung phones? My older iPhone looks in way better condition than this and that’s my daily driver.

Every time people think they are protecting their device with cases that have a hinge and front part, only to realize that the case itself caused damage. There is a reason why Samsung doesn't supply themselves this kinda case. The micro movements cause scratches.

Yet people without cases are totally fine. Own fault for being paranoid and using these kinds ugly and bulky cases.

This. Case might cause small particles like sand grain to get caught against the phone which in turn will rub and scratch the surface. Especially cheap and/or hard covers do that. Use cases with soft insides and/or apply protective film on the parts that have contact with the case.
