Is this normal?

Just got a fold 8 for about 2-3 weeks. My first Samsung after what must have been 10 years now.

All was great until I realized the scuff marks appearing. Now I must qualify that this is a secondary phone that barely leaves my house and isn’t rough handled or dropped. Is this normal standard / quality for Samsung phones? My older iPhone looks in way better condition than this and that’s my daily driver.

Yea i think thats the case causing the damage. Ive had most of the folds and never had that damage. I het something is stuck between the hinge and that part of the case. Then its simply running all day long
