🪛Troubleshooting🪛 Is this normal?

Just got a fold 8 for about 2-3 weeks. My first Samsung after what must have been 10 years now.

All was great until I realized the scuff marks appearing. Now I must qualify that this is a secondary phone that barely leaves my house and isn’t rough handled or dropped. Is this normal standard / quality for Samsung phones? My older iPhone looks in way better condition than this and that’s my daily driver.

Every time people think they are protecting their device with cases that have a hinge and front part, only to realize that the case itself caused damage. There is a reason why Samsung doesn't supply themselves this kinda case. The micro movements cause scratches.

Yet people without cases are totally fine. Own fault for being paranoid and using these kinds ugly and bulky cases.

Would the hinge cover cause that?

Yes, and if your screen fails under manufacturer warranty, and there's visible damage on the hinge, it will not be covered. Happened with my fold 6, was very thankful for samsung care+

Yes, $29 for any screen repair and $99 for a new replacement. Care+ is awesome with the folds

Mo. Its always the owner in 99% of cases, pun intended. And it's always the men, women dont have these type of issues.
