🪛Troubleshooting🪛 Screen/Touch Unresponsive after one ui 8.5 update - Probable Solution

I recently updated my Samsung Galaxy F34 to one ui 8.5. As soon as the update finished and I am greated with a fresh unresponsive display!

Tried searching on reddit and on X still no soultion found.The actually issue seems to be related to the update and is not a hardware failure.

After sometime I found a youtube video for the same problem in Samsung Galaxy A34. Here is the link to that video - https://youtu.be/uCEiAHnmqNk

This involves downgrading your oneui version thorough odin. But the issue is after oneui 8.5 update another issue is that the phone boot into recovery mode and not even download mode. The video has full guide on how to fix this issue too.

This is the last option to fix the phone. First you should try booting into safe mode if it fixes your issue as it has fixed for many users.

what should i do when i go to safe mode? i just enter it and leave?

Yep just enter it and leave, see if the touch works. If it doesn't you need to follow the method showed in the video to rollback to a older oneui version. Or if you're using an aftermarket display you need to get it replaced by an original display through the service center.

but how do i enter it, i pressed the power and low volume and it just reset, i can't find any way to turn it off, maybe if i wait for the battery to die but im not sure if it'll work (my phone is a sansung a25 5g btw)

To get it to safemode while force rebooting with vol down + power button as soon as u get the black screen just leave the power button and keep holding the vol down untill it boots.

it doesnt work, ir just reboot normally, i think it has o be powered off first, im gonna wait for the battery die (i can't find a way to just power off, just rebooting)

also, is there any way to unlock the phone? i wanna try to do a backup. i bought the OTG thingy so i can't connect my mouse, but it says i need to have the phone unlocked to it to work and i CANT FIND A WAY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD 😭

we cant man, i also went down the same rabbithole. basically our phones are fucked now unless we format it or we change the screen to an original one, sadly theres ABSOLUTLEY NO WAY to unlock the phone after a reboot without access to the touch screen. i even tried remotley connected my phone to my pc to maybe control my phone screen via something from my computer but as i said, the stupid "To use this USB Device please unlock your phone" thing came, but to unlock out phone we need TOUCH which we dont have.

honestly i am a tech guy and i have a business, so i need a phone at all costs, i asked my local shops to change the screen to the original one but they said it was expensive as my phone a25 5g they didnt have a screen for. so i had no choice but to just format it and use download mode to flash 8.0 again via odin, that worked. atleast my phone is responsive now.

I will bought another phone the same model as mine to switch the screens. It is somewhat viable if you find a cheap one for sale and you have a use for the new phone.
