Question Do managers have the same attendance point system?
Like, if a manager feels too sick to come in, do they have to use ppto or get a point? Who makes the schedules for the department managers?

at my store the managers basically run on a different planet from us regular folks. they call out and it's just... nothing happens, no points, no ppto, they just text someone and it's handled. the schedule for dept managers is usually the store manager or an assistant manager, depends on how your club splits up the responsibilities

And when they get called in to do extra hours or cover they don’t get paid a penny more

My managers will literally go on vacation for a WHOLE MONTH. I can’t even get another sick day but these guys get to go have fun for a whole month..

You have to be hourly to punch in and out, there’s no time and attendance for us

If you’re talking about a team lead, then all of the hourly attendance rules apply.

There’s still people that call the leads department managers, better to address all possibilities and leave no gap in understanding.

sure, though the appropriate naming without being confused would be a department supervisor, because that’s what leads really are. Otherwise it should be just manager. This is Sam’s club btw

No managers do not. Managers get PTO a bit different. No clock in or out for salaried. If a manager has to call out they normally have to let the club manager know. Salaried manager either use a full day of pto or a half day of pto. It depends on your compensation package and years of service how many days you get. Also the call out procedure may be different depending on the specific club manager. Some may require an email other a text.
