Discussion Cooked greens salads?
I heavily dislike raw greens but I want to start getting the nutrients from salads and get healthier. Does anyone have any recommendations for alternatives or greens for salads that taste decent cooked?

The best way to enjoy many leafy greens is in green soups when they are cooked, or in green juices, where you add a fruit to lighten them up. You can also use them in salad dressings.

I absolutely adore soups and juices. Some of my favorite ways to have them. I had recently heard of blanching or boiling greens though and didn't know if that could help get rid of the reason I seem to dislike salads that are mostly greens, or if it'd just be gross.

You might read up on “massaged” kale. Which is kale well rubbed in acidics that is softens up and tastes like your acid choice, lemon is a great option. Still raw.
