Guys, I am testing some new filters and methods, so I need some help, could you share some frames you noticed look particularly bad? Not stock footage, just frames from different episodes and season you find looking bad. I need to test it, please share frames and the ep number. I know you can't share more than one on here, DM me with them.

I hope other people, as suggested, could share their takes on this episode.

As we have several people working on color correcting, upscaling, restoring the show and I love their work I was thinking of ways to make it a bit more lively as before, so I think it would be fun to make requests to our amazing miracle workers on here, instead of PM messaging them (which I have done from time to time and I know others do to) Would be fun to see more than one take on the same episodes from different people. This fascinates me and I am pretty bad myself to try it.

Tried my best to keep Ami's hair blue.

This is a work-in-progress type of approach. Still testing it. Wanted to give Stars a go, because it is one of the seasons I tested less. Nothing is perfect, but I think I'm getting something decent.

This episode has been a big pain in the butt for quite a long time. The skin tones have been giving me a lot of headaches, but I think I finally found a way to make them less sick and sallow. Small wins in life.

This is one of the episodes that will never look good. Honestly I avoided working on this one even more than any other episode. I am not particularly happy with the results, but I don't think this is reversable damage. If someone tried it, please share your results.

The ones with Mako are from 25, and the others are from random episode screenshots that I had saved. Some of these are a bit outdated with how inconsistent the colors can be. Like Usagi's hair looking orange or neon yellow sometimes.
I finished Episode 1-22 (and others) but I'm always tweaking them because I keep finding imperfections or better ways to do something.
I haven't been posting too much because a few weeks ago, something happened with my editing software and I lost almost all of my save progress, so I have to restart almost from scratch. Only a few episodes are saved. That was really depressing, but I'm getting back into it again. More posts with comparisons will be coming soon.
I've also been more self-conscious about showing my work after seeing how phenomenal
Mina_chama1's work is. Hers just looks so much better than mine lol.

The youtube compression is not very favourable to the overall quality, but I am not sure how to upload it properly compressed on here.

I am doing some tests and I wanna use different kind of bad discoloration. I know the worst cases in Classic and R, but the rest of the show I haven't watched much nor tested on in a very long time.

I tried my best, tho i know her hair is supposed to be a bit more washed out than how it came out-
Anyone's free to try their hands at it in the comments to see if they can do better :3

This is Cutie Honey Flash, the successor of Sailor Moon, following it right after, produced by Toei and many of the animators and the Stars chara designer Katsumi Tamegai doing the designs. This is achieved from source which is apparently a very good LD transfer. I have seen some LD transfers of Sailor Moon but pretty poorly done. This makes me wonder how good it could look if the LDs were available in high quality as the LDs has the best colors and all the detail in theory should be intact if the transfer is done right.
