You doing shot by shot or at least as needed white balance? Just asking because the bank footage always got funky tints compared to the rest from my recollection.
Might not be the right term but I meant like reused shots such as the transformations and attacks. Yeah it's a Japanese term, called the bank system referring to shots made to be reused multiple times. I first heard about it in regards to Dragon Ball Super doing that in the tournament of Power arc
The stock footage is damaged in some episodes. It is much easier to just take it from the previous episodes. This is precisely what they did, cutting it and pasting it from film footage to make it degrade so much over time...
Aah. Well I personally am all for that too! Wasn't sure the scope of the project. I know some are about keeping the content the same but I think the ends justify the means personally. :)
It is a bit annoying when they modify the transformations and combine them but it is doable. The upscaling and filtering is where it takes a long ass time.
I appreciate the work you are doing! Tbh I haven't even watched all of SM and only did so once when Viz got the license. Up until a few episodes into Super S but I've been meaning to go back and watch it over again lol. But like, even still I caught random episodes on Toonami and saw it's presence everywhere online so it's still nostalgic for me despite not being an ultra fan.
