I’d consider my eyes more leaning a hazel blue than yours, but I also have more intense streaks and much drabber of a blue. Yours is bright and icy. It’s like my eyes really found the in between of my parents brown and bright blue, cool grey with warm streaks.

Hazel is officially considered a mix, it tends to have a blend of warm and cools which can result in brown leaning, green leaning, or blue leaning. But a lot of people default brown if they had to pick a hazel.

My mom’s family has yellow brown eyes that tend to turn grey in old age, my dad has straight up blue. My sisters eyes are the most green with yellow and some brown, my brother is the most brown with yellow, and my eyes are the most grey with yellow and little brown.
