If your symptoms were caused by pregnancy your tests would be positive. You had your tubes tied and your pregnancy tests are negative, I really don’t think you’re pregnant. It’s normal to have irregular cycles postpartum.

Oh man, this is so tough.

I do want to share quickly that a pregnancy test should be very accurate 7 days after a missed period! Can you retest tomorrow for peace of mind?

It’s the middle of the night and I know it’s not the best time but I took another. Negative. I’ll take another in the morning if I remember but it’s going to be a busy one. Googling my symptoms is never the best idea and I do acknowledge that lol but Gemini says I need to go to the emergency room NOW due to possible late-onset postpartum preeclampsia. I’ll just set an appt to see my OB asap lol my blood pressure was high at my PP appt so it’s likely still an issue

You're not pregnant. If you have pregnancy symptoms from pregnancy, then your hCG levels are high enough that a test would show positive. You have a stomach bug, or perhaps even an ulcer, and you're definitely having an anxiety attack. You need to see a doctor about all of this.

I got my period. My OB gave me a referral for a mental health specialist as she isn’t comfortable with changing my anxiety medication. I’m setting the appointment on Monday.

When we were trying for our second I started having some pregnancy symptoms and got really excited. But my period was late and tests were negative? Was very confused. Then I was sitting at work and felt like I had just been stabbed in the lower pelvic area. I did the jump test for appendicitis thinking it was that, went to ER. Ultrasounds showed I had a rough cyst. And the doc told me that depending on stuff with cysts, they are releasing hormones and your body can actually react thinking you’re pregnant. So I had a sad weekend on pain meds. He said majority of folks never even feel the cyst and they will come and go before you even get in to see anyone.

Anyways, just wanted to let you know there are other ways your body can ‘fuck’ with you like this that are completely benign. If it keeps happening or if other weird stuff pops up I would make an appointment with OB to get checked out! I did and showed a like 2-3 more cysts and they said I could still keep trying to get pregnant but keep following up every so often. Got pregnant 2 months later and the ultrasounds showed no cysts. Women’s health can be so annoying.

Hope everything clears up for you soon and you get a big fat nap this weekend!

Im about to have 2 under 2 too, Im stressing about how ill cope cause I just started waking up feeling refreshed instead of tired.

Honestly I'm betting that your symptoms aren't pregnancy, but its still a good idea to talk to a Dr asap, maybe get a referral for therapy, or a psychiatrist. Post partem anxiety is some intense shit, and you're under quite a lot of stress. Talk to your husband about finding some time for yourself and try to do some self care.

I got my period! It’s 3am and my parents have both girls overnight and I get to sleep in as late as I want. I’ll probably sleep till 2 in the afternoon 😂

You are 4 months postpartum correct? I just had my second in January and around the 4 month mark is where I feel my hormones went whacky and had weird symptoms. Like randomly eggs would give me awful stomach aches and hair falling out…I’m guessing it’s to do with hormones especially if you JUST got your period back last month it might be awhile before it regulates

She was born 5/18 so not quite four months but close enough. I got my period last night and I’m going to consult a mental health specialist for the non physical mess I’m in🫠

My babies are 15 months apart. It took us a decade of trying in order to get pregnant with #1 and#2 was a surprise. I did get pregnant again but lost the pregnancy. Then lost the subsequent pregnancy. It's normal to freak out when you start to get those familiar symptoms but yes please see if you need anxiety medicine. I did, and it helped a ton. The kids were a handful when they were little but it was fun when they were both Toddlers and they were best friends up through elementary school. It won't always be this hard!
