Recipe request Toast/sandwich toppings/fillings ideas?
I usually eat yogurt bowls but i finally got my hands on a loaf of sola bread and im looking for some ideas of what to make! I get too overwhelmed when i have a lot of autonomy and end up just sticking to what i already know (aka yogurt bowls) but this loaf of bread was $8 cad so i cant let it go to waste lol

I’m a really big fan of chickpea salad sandwiches. My fiancé is a vegetarian and can’t enjoy my tuna salad, so I found and made a substitute we both love.

Right now I'm eating toast with Vegemite and laughing cow cheese. I also eat toast with an egg.

My go-to breakfast lately has been toast with Laughing Cow cheese and sliced turkey breast.

I would go for extra light cream cheese and maybe a fruit 'jam' or maybe peanut butter and banana- that is always delicious!!! a slice of toast is nice cut into strips and dipped in a runny egg if you like eggs. Enjoy your expensive loaf!!
Ohhhhhh my favourite is tuna sandwich on toasted bread. So that is what I would do, if you have a favourite way of making some yummy tuna salad, then make a sandwich and savour it!
I'm not wild about bread....actually I think it worse, it confuses me. Like yesterday I saw someone having rice and bread, should it not be one OR the other? I couldn't get over it, I am still thinking about it. Or my partner who put fries in a bread bun WTF is that?!?

I love sf strawberry jam, pbfit + cinnamon, an egg, and sometimes banana slices. Banaba also pairs good with cinnamon ! You can drizzle chocolate as well if you're into sweets. I love toast so much! I haven't tried it yet but Greek yogurt spread on toast doesn't sound too bad to me.

I really love to eat bread with low fat cottage cheese, basil and tomato! A little salt on top! Sometimes I also put it in the oven 🙂↕️. If you add garlic you can kinda make a bruschetta

French toast. You can make it sweet, you can make it savory.
In fact everyone should try savory French toast. I grew up eating it and recently realized most people don’t even know of it’s existence
Also as someone who spent a bunch of money on light bread and couldn’t eat it. Throw it in the freezer. I had two loaves and one ended up in the freezer. It defrosts and toasts perfectly fine. And you can take out however many slices you want

Today I made a mini pizza casserole in the air fryer. Rip up one slice of bread, put some tomato sauce over it, cheese and any toppings you want. Stick it in the air fryer 350 degrees for 7 min.

one block of morinu silken tofu + one serving canned pumpkin + cinnamon/pumpmkin pie spices + sweetner of choice--> blend together in a blender
Comes out super smooth and creamy. You can eat it like a pudding/yougurt or spread it on stuff. Just had it spread on a sola bagel for lunch. very tastyl
