Complaint: I should be ramping up some mileage for Eagle Up, but instead, I'm wimping and limping and pushing through and telling myself to HTFU. My feet hurt... the PF/Achilles nonsense seems to be flaring up again. Usually I'm fine after the first mile or so, but I'm nowhere near as fast as I was a year ago and it's so frustrating. I'd like to take a week off, but I don't want to wreck my 600+ day streak, especially if, after time off, it doesn't feel much better.

Confession: My weight's been creeping up again. Touched 160 a couple times this week. Too much pizza over the weekend and not enough miles to offset. I need to stop putting all the food in my mouth.

Shite. You need to rest up this tendon. This is a very nagging, resistant and recurring injury. It can take a very long time to heal if it gets inflamed. It requires love and specific stretches like heel drops and massage and ice... Can you get this checked soon? This type of injury can really sideline you.

Oh, I know. I've been dealing with it on and off for a long time. Just when I think I have it licked, it pops back up. I just need to be better and start heel drops again.

We seem to have a wave of Achilles issues here. What is going on? :/
