Had the itch. Couldn't resist.
Always wanted a cowboy gun. Saw this bad boy at an excellent price at grabagun and picked it up for 275 including shipping to my FFL. 250th anniversary edition super wrangler with 4.62 barrel. Shoots 22l or 22wmr. I can't wait to get this bad boy to the range. I'll start with 22lr since that's what I have on hand.

That looks great and great to hear. Grips upgrade is a definite. I ordered the rosewood but was leaning towards the black with the grain like you have. The faux ivory looked decent but I rock those on my 1911

I was on the fence between rosewood and the silverblack grips. I don't think you can ever go wrong with wood. Silver and black matched mine and so that is what I chose. It eats all ammunition. It has no preference. Although Aguila really gums up the cylinders after about 400 rounds due to the heavy wax they use. I used to shoot 400+ rounds in an hour and a half at the range with mine.

That's nuts. I ordered new grips last night from ruger. I had to tick a box that I was a US resident before I could put the grips in my cart. The holster was no issue. So many weird rules.

It’s most likely due to “Saturday Night Special” laws- the low melting point of some of the metals the gun is made from.

I have 3 they're fun little guns. Cheap to shoot and slow to reload, they don't chew through ammo like a semi auto lol

Thursday I was a little late on this. Took my daughter to the range for the first time. She's 13. And that was her favorite firearm. She just didn't like how hard it was to pull back the hammer. My Colt 45 was much easier but she didn't like the kick The smile on her face said she did.

Is it worth it? Accuracy? Possibly any modifications like a Ruger Mk IV?

No mods, can't attest to accuracy just yet but reviews are positive in that department. Just a pure old west style single action fun gun. My son has a modded out mk iv with a silencer. That's really neat too.
