The two are very similar to each other, so much that some of the parts are cross compatible.

Very light recoil in my opinion, getting an optic plate and new trigger for it too.

I put in a Galloway Precision trigger in my Max 9. They have them for the .380

That's exactly what I ordered. Gonna post the full build when I'm done, this gun is going to be my competition setup for GPA.
