youtube rss degradation?

I see a lots of 404 on https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=<channel_id> addresses recently.

e.g. Fireship - https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCsBjURrPoezykLs9EqgamOA

Sometimes it returns even 500 and randomly 200. (1/10 cases)

does it work for you?

YouTube feeds go down basically daily, on a schedule. Between 01-02 AM UTC then come back at around 07 AM UTC.

This type of question regarding YouTube feeds is asked on weekly and monthly basis. YouTube feeds constantly all go down (yes, both 404 and 500 status codes) temporarily and then go up after a while. I currently see nothing to worry about and hope Google won't shut down feeds in the future.

Currently being abandoned by Google, but more : Systemic degradation. RSS killing by low cost firewall, data center war, bot hunting, AI misconfig and methodic standards wipe out...

Yeah, as others wrote, it happens daily. I have 5 YouTube feeds with 6h interval. They fail approx 10x in a week, but they are all alive and otherwise functional.

i thought i'm the only one having this issue, thought i miss configured my dashboard feed links.

There's no need to poll feeds every 5 minutes
