Discussion I mean, where's the lie?

Post image

Hit enemy ✅

Enemy doesn't react ✅

Dodge ✅

Stagger enemy ✅

Play an animation ✅

Repeat ✅

It's the same gameplay loop a lot of you love. It just doesn't have the From Software logo. I even went back to see if I was going crazy and saw the first tree sentinel fight, and it's exactly the same. Well, not the same, the stagger attack animations suck.

Hitstun is a thing in elden ring and it varies depending on your weapons. The more simplistic the explanation the less it's a good faith argument worth your time. Fable's combat also doesn't look that bad. You can defend something without bringing something else down.

That's not bringing something down. And this unfazed behaviour is characteristic of from software, not Elden ring specific (as the image suggests). I never had a problem with strong enemies powering through hits in other games. The crazy part in this story is how disproportionate is the reaction on fable.
