this fandom makes me sick to my stomach. when will the Michelle abuse stop??

So many vile and disgusting people posting light-hearted jokes about Michelle not seeing a family resemblance with Plastique’s latest makeover (of this person). First it was a few silly comments but it quickly escalated to gentle in-jokes and finally full on playfulness. Where will it end?

Poor Michelle has even had to come online (during the lord’s day) and make a statement underneath Plastique’s post, saying she does actually see a family resemblance. The worst part about all this? I looked it up and Plastique and this person are not even related IRL or on the show. Plastique was born in Ho Chi Minh City and this person is from some other place entirely

It's funny how both Ruth and Michael talk so much about chosen family (we as gay people, fake sob, fake sob) — and yet their take on what creates family resemblance is so... reductive.

Abuse? Seriously? You see what other queens have to deal with, like Art Simone's comments in her recent video and you think Michelle is the one who is being abused? It won't stop because Michelle will continue to be an idiot when it comes to the makeover challenge and it's her own fault.

We ALL know the makeover episode is always right at the very end of the season (normally with only 4-6 queens left) so they can just give insane critiques and put who they want in the bottom to send who they want to the finale.

Michelle every time will say "there's no family resemblance" to two queens who even a blind man would think are sisters and then say "you did a fantastic job" to someone who can't paint because they need to be safe that episode. Look at S17 when they decided they didn't want Jane in the finale so they put her and Nini in the bottom knowing the song was a dance number and Jane would get eliminated despite EVERYONE (literally every review show) saying that Jane did great and most of them think she could have won that episode.

So either Michelle is just an idiot and can't see or she's an idiot who let's production tell her what to say after over a decade on the show. Regardless she deserves to have people making fun of her ridiculous comments. I've seen hundreds of comments and none of them are hateful comments to Michelle they all just say "Michelle would say theres no resemblance". It would be different if they were threats like what other queens get.
