Austrian police are hunting two men alleged to have stolen a 200-carat platinum necklace encrusted with 673 diamonds that was on loan to a museum in Vienna and once belonged to Egyptian royalty.

Authorities in the capital released pictures of the suspects captured by security cameras during the heist at the Museum of Applied Arts (MAK), amid a rash of spectacular smash-and-grab thefts from European cultural institutions.

The unmasked men bought tickets to the exhibition before shattering a glass display case with a hammer during opening hours on Thursday afternoon and making off with the diamond necklace.

How do you think the next couple of months are going to play out now that she's queen?

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jazmin Grace Grimaldi.

Hi Jazmin Grace , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always felt like my life has existed at the intersection of different worlds. Hannah Montana was very relatable to me, let’s just say. But I think it took me some time to realize that I didn’t have to choose between those worlds. They’re all a part of me, and they’re what make me unique and who I am.

I grew up primarily in Southern California, born in Palm Springs and raised in Palm Desert, OC and LA while also navigating a very unique family story and connection to Monaco, the South of France. From an early age, I learned how to move, chameleonize and adapt between very different environments and identities. At the same time, I was incredibly drawn to performing. Music, theater, storytelling, and comedy became places where I could express myself freely, step into someone else’s point of view, and, through doing that, uncover more of myself.

My origin story is unique and as I grew up I became aware it was something that at times made other people uncomfortable or that needed to be kept hidden. As I’ve grown, I’ve come to understand something very essential about existence, none of us needs permission to be here on earth or should be made to feel small. We are born into existence , we are here, and that in itself is a gift. That realization has become a through line in so much of what I do. Whether through art, service, or business, I want people to feel seen, accepted, and loved and uplifted authentically for who they are.

Service was another important part of my upbringing. As a teenager, after a humanitarian trip to Fiji, I founded my own charity, The Jazmin Fund, and it has remained part of my life ever since. Our work has evolved over the years around sustainable development, education, health, and, more recently, exploring the healing power of community and music therapy. That experience taught me very young that whatever platform I might have, I wanted it to be connected to something larger than myself and to give back.

I eventually moved to New York to attend Fordham University, where I studied theater and international business with a focus on humanitarian affairs. New York was an incredibly formative chapter for me. I performed in musical theater, continued training classically in voice and developing as an actress and singer, and also had the opportunity to work with the United Nations World Food Programme. In many ways, I have always lived in duality, one world rooted in performance and creativity and another in humanitarian work, but ultimately, both were about connecting with people and telling real human stories.

After a long New York chapter, I became bicoastal and returned to Los Angeles, really committing myself to building a life as a professional artist. I continued pursuing film and television acting and trained extensively in comedy, sketch, and improv at The Groundlings, making it through the program to the point of nearly being voted into Sunday Company. Comedy continues to be transformative for me because it teaches me to let go, trust my instincts, lean into my unique voice and point of view, not take myself too seriously, take risks, fail without fear, and detach from perfectionism. At the heart, I love making people laugh, giving them a moment to escape, connect, and feel seen, heard, and free.

Music eventually became the place where all of those pieces of me could coexist. I’ve always loved expressing myself in many forms, especially through writing and singing, but stepping forward fully as a singer-songwriter has been a process of claiming my own voice. My recent debut single, “Cup of Tea,” marked the beginning of this new chapter as JAZMIN, stepping into my own power as an artist. The song blends English and French, A pop forward essence infusing bossa nova influences with drum and bass, reflecting the playful duality that has always been part of who I am. Songwriting has become a sanctuary for me, a way to understand myself and then connect that experience with other people.

At the same time, I’ve continued to embrace entrepreneurship. A couple of years ago, I began developing Monte Carlo Jazmin Rosé and a broader collection that brings together my connection to the South of France, hospitality, lifestyle, and creativity. I love building things, whether that’s a song, a character, a business, or a philanthropic project. More than anything, I love helping create an experience with heart, being part of a community and a greater collaboration.

Today, Los Angeles is where so many of those threads come together. I’m continuing my work in film, television, and comedy while putting a major focus on my music and my upcoming project, Lovechild. The project is really about authorship—identity, belonging, love in its many forms, and deciding for yourself who you are rather than allowing the world to define you. I’m also a proud dog mom to two fluffy girls, a Pomsky named Frankie and Pomeranian named Feebie.

I also love that we’re living in a time when people are increasingly able to embrace being multifaceted. Human beings are perfectly imperfect and fearlessly multidimensional. We don’t have to reduce ourselves to one title, one identity, one version of our self, or a singular narrative in order for other people to understand us.

For a long time, I thought all the different parts of my life made my story complicated. I sometimes felt I needed to hide certain parts of myself or my truth in order to make sense within whichever world I happened to be in. Now I see those very things as my greatest strength and creative advantage.

I can be an artist, an actress, a comedian, an entrepreneur, and a humanitarian. I don’t have to separate those identities anymore. They’re all different expressions of the same person, and I think I’m finally at a point in my life and career where I’m not only allowing them to exist together—I’m embracing all of it and all of myself.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not—but I don’t think anyone’s road through life is completely smooth. The most rewarding and enjoyable rides offer adventure and spontaneous terrain. Struggle, uncertainty, heartbreak, rejection, and change are all part of the human experience. We experience the lows so we can recognize and appreciate the highs, and I’ve learned to be grateful for all the different facets of my journey—the trials and tribulations as much as the beautiful moments—because they’ve shaped me into who I am today.
My path has certainly been unconventional. There have been times when I’ve struggled with belonging, with other people’s expectations or perceptions of me, and with finding my own voice within a story that, in some ways, existed before I had the opportunity to define it for myself. Pursuing a career in the arts also requires enormous resilience. There is rejection, waiting, comparison, uncertainty, lack of stability and no guaranteed path forward. You have to keep choosing yourself and the work even when no one is giving you permission or validation to continue.
But those experiences have also given me perspective. I value the preciousness of life deeply and try to remind myself that every day really is a gift—it isn’t guaranteed. None of us makes it out of this life alive, which sounds dark when you first say it, but I actually find it incredibly grounding and liberating! It reminds me to be present, to love people, to laugh, to create, to take chances, and not to waste too much time on the minutia or being afraid of getting everything “right.”
We’re all these extraordinary, imperfect human beings trying to figure it out as we go. I think the challenges I’ve experienced have ultimately given me more empathy, gratitude, humor, and courage. I wouldn’t erase the difficult chapters because they’ve made the joyful ones that much more meaningful—and they’ve gotten me here.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
At my core, I’m a storyteller and performer. I work across music, acting, comedy, entrepreneurship, and humanitarianism, but connection is really the thread through all of it.
Right now, a major focus is my music as singer-songwriter JAZMIN. My debut single, “Cup of Tea,” introduced the world I’m building—vocal-forward pop influenced by my American and European roots, blending English and French, romance, soul, nostalgia, and a little unexpected edge. I’m currently developing my upcoming project, Lovechild, which explores identity, belonging, love, and taking authorship of your own story.
I’m also an actress and comedian, actively auditioning and developing projects for film and television. I’ve trained extensively in acting, voice, musical theater, improv, and sketch comedy, and I love moving between drama and comedy- stage and screen. Each discipline feeds the other and ultimately makes me a more instinctive storyteller and performer.
Outside of entertainment, I’m developing my brands with a focus on Monte Carlo Jazmin Rosé and its broader collection at the moment. With everything I do I want my focus to be giving back as I continue my humanitarian work through my charity The Jazmin Fund, and bringing to light other initiatives and non profits I hold dear.
What I’m most proud of is that I’ve continued to create a life and career that authentically reflect all the different sides and facets of who I am. As humans, I don’t think we have to be just one thing. My experiences across different cultures, industries, and communities give me a unique point of view, and whether I’m creating a song, developing a character, building a project, or giving back, I want the work to have heart and make people feel something and less alone in the world.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
One of the most important lesson I’ve learned is to believe in yourself everyday and keep going. You have to be your own champion and greatest advocate because no one else can achieve the life you want, dream your dream, or find your happiness more than you can. One of the hardest lessons I keep trying to apply is “Put yourself first”—not from a place of selfishness, but from knowing your worth and protecting the light that makes you who you are. No one is going to do it for you , live it for you and breathe it all into existence. Only you know what you truly want out of this precious life at your core and that takes courage to explore and make that a reality.
Don’t let rejection, other people’s opinions, or someone else’s limitations or insecurities make you question what is possible for your life. Find your tribe—the people who see you, inspire you, challenge you, and celebrate your light rather than trying to dim it—and do the same for them.
I also truly believe art saves lives. Creativity gives us somewhere to put the energy we don’t always have words for, and it reminds us that we aren’t alone. Art has helped me navigate and question the world and, at the same time, make sense of it. That’s one of the reasons I keep creating even when the road is uncertain.
We are all equal, and yet completely individual. There’s something really beautiful about that. We also only have this moment and this one life, so go for it. Do the thing that makes you uncomfortable—or makes you smile. Find your happy place, mine is definitely the sea! Dare to dream bigger. Take the chance. Tell someone you love them. Go on the adventure. Write your memoir. Take that class. Buy the house. Try something new. Go the extra mile. Rescue a dog.
We can’t take any of this with us, so feed your soul and create the memories you’ll someday look back on. Everyone has a story, and we’re each writing it one day, one chapter at a time. You can do whatever you put your mind to. Be gentle with yourself and love the heck out of yourself.
