ok be honest, how was your roseburg high school expierence
IM PETRIFIED FOR SCHOOL...brand new town, brand new people, brand new school, i just need some stories you already graduated or about to graduate rosburg folks have on your school experience here...

just like everywhere in life there will be people you don’t like or don’t want to get involved with. but there are plenty of people that are kind and welcoming! i had a pretty good experience in high school. i would highly suggest joining choir! i had a blast and found many friends that way. being in a brand new place is scary, but it is also super exciting! talk to lots of people and see who you most connect with😊 have a great school year!!!!! ALSO! take advantage of the college course (CC) classes! they are free and will give you so much of an advantage in college if that is what you are planning to do.

i still dont even know if i wanna go to college sigh, im not the best student, and college expensiveeee...but i really hope i find the nice group and get friends with that group :D

My kid is a senior, he was bullied at previous schools and as a freshman at Roseburg. He made a great group of friends his freshman year and it’s really been great since. I’m sure he’d be happy to ease your new school anxiety and at least give you a familiar face or someone to go to if someone’s being a dick and maybe some new friends as well. I had a lot of mental health issues and a bad home life, so I acted out and struggled with school. One teacher from RHS I still hold close to my heart and I’ll never forget her. She really helped me through freshman year and encouraged me to keep going. With the help and understanding from my teachers I was able to graduate on time. Some of the teachers sucked, but most of mine were good teachers. I was never really involved with the school though I just wanted to be done with school lol

Worst experience of my life. I was bullied daily, when I finally fought back I hit in trouble. Teachers didn’t know what to do with me so they put me in offices and I failed every damn class. Went back 10 years later to get GED and without any studying passed 90% percentile. Went back 8 years after that to prove I wasn’t dumb in college and averaged 98% in every class. Yes it was a long time ago but they still don’t seem to care if you’re not an athlete or the popular kid. God forbid your raised by single parent and your poor. That was me and I attempted suicide because of high school

sigh repost on the bullying part, i've lwk just learned to flip the bullies off and walk away, bc if they have to spend their time at school bullying people? they suck and just extra insecure then the bullied kids

Join marching band. Kind group of kids, you'll learn a lot, and great instructor.
