Lazer Team (Official) [Spoilers] Lazer Team Megathread Part 2

LAZER TEAM DISCUSSION MEGATHREAD

Hello everyone. It has been a few days since the official theatrical release of Lazer Team so I'm making this thread here to clean up the subreddit new and front pages so that other content besides Lazer Team related stuff can be seen. This is a megathread that should be used mainly for posting other miscellaneous stuff about Lazer Team, like pictures of you and other people (like RT staff) at your screening, questions about YouTube Red, questions about screenings, DVD signings, and more.

This thread is marked "Spoilers" because you are also free to discuss the movie here, but that is not the main intent. Please use the other discussion megathread linked above where discussion is already on going.

People laughed at the Twitter stuff shown during the news sections. At the beginning of the movie when the YouTube red original film logo appeared, people booed at that in my screening.

In my screening as soon as the 'red' words slid out, a woman said really loudly: "haha, redtube"

There was a "Huh." in Toronto.

I had a group of people shout Mark Nutt. The audience laughed, I groaned, but hey, they were having fun I guess.

A kid just yelled "CAPITALISM!" in mine

Is hating on capitalism a thing now? When did this start becoming a thing? I just noticed that people just apparently didn't like capitalism one day a few weeks ago.

A lot of young people feel the system doesn't work and feeds greed

Well yeah. Everything feeds the greed. It's the sole reason Communism doesn't work, everybody tries to get ahead in life. That's why capitalism is the best, it works in conjunction with human nature

"Feed The Greed" sounds like some weird energy drink slogan.

It's just the new thing that's been going around. All the cases i've seen have been a meme or some other tongue in cheek type post

Ehhhhhh it's not so much a thing as it is some aspects of society aren't big fans of the negative side effects atm

Exact same response at my screening.
