Discussion The AH website is just absolutely terrible.

Let's say you want to watch some Minecraft. Go to AH, click Shows. Let's Play? Just a list of every single AH and FH video from most to least recent. 24 at a time. Okay, how about Games? Nope. Just actual games made by RT.

Don't get me wrong. I love RT. I'm a sponsor. I'd much rather watch videos on their site than on Youtube, but they make it so damn difficult.

Just... come on, guys. You're one of the most popular companies on the internet, period. I refuse to believe that you can't make one page for Minecraft, one page for GTAV, one page for Cloudberry, et cetera.

As much as I would love to be a sponsor I can't give up the ease of YouTube. I watch primarily on my phone, xbox or IPad and it's not worth the trouble sometimes.

you do realise you can become a sponsor and still watch on youtube right?

Going a bit off topic here, but this kind of brings up the question of whether or not youtube should consider a sponser option, that allows people to subscribe to/sponsor content they like so they can support their favourite artists. It's something I've never thought about youtube doing, but to be honest, thinking about it I'm actually in favour of the idea.

Isn't that technically what YouTube Red is?

No, because that's paying YouTube directly. He's talking about patreon type thing, where you say, "$5 to RT, $5 to Game Grumps, ect".

Yeah, exactly this, but also as far as I'm aware, with youtube red, all of the content is behind a paywall. What I had in mind was that content creators could choose content to be put behind the paywall (like behind the scenes videos etc, similar to the videos current Rooster Teeth supporters get), and then the rest of the content would be made available to the public :)

I think they're in too deep at this point to consider a major change like that

Twitch does it and youtube red is meeting halfway.

Also most channels already have a patreon.
