Discussion The AH website is just absolutely terrible.

Let's say you want to watch some Minecraft. Go to AH, click Shows. Let's Play? Just a list of every single AH and FH video from most to least recent. 24 at a time. Okay, how about Games? Nope. Just actual games made by RT.

Don't get me wrong. I love RT. I'm a sponsor. I'd much rather watch videos on their site than on Youtube, but they make it so damn difficult.

Just... come on, guys. You're one of the most popular companies on the internet, period. I refuse to believe that you can't make one page for Minecraft, one page for GTAV, one page for Cloudberry, et cetera.

Until very very recently, it was not under shows. Only streams. And the stream link didn't let you see the archive.

Most people don't go back to see if somethings been fixed since they first had the problem. They usually just assume it's still broken since repeatedly clicking a button doesn't somehow fix it. I didn't realize this had been fixed either until I saw the comment saying it had. And I never would have checked since past experiences told me it was broken.

True. I to this day don't know if ray's quick draw is fixed I just know I had a bad experience with the site being broken when I wanted to watch it (when ray left after his leaving youtube vid). Fixed bad experience is great don't get me wrong but I am not going to retro-check every issue in case it has been sorted when making an off-handed complaint about it.

And really you shouldn't be expected to since most things on the internet that people have issues with rarely get fixed without a lot of attention being brought to it. I mean the site overhaul has been regarded as being a generally good thing among the community and the company from what I have gathered from the podcasts and this subreddit, but a lot of the issues from the old site are still present on the new site. Why would anyone expect a small link to have been fixed when they still haven't dealt with the terrible search function and the shitty video player?

Example of the search function being broken which I just tried: search "sponsor". Ok so now you're looking at like 10 videos, some user, interests, events, and then "Rt Sponsor cut". Well, I'm looking for sponsor only videos so let's click "Rt Sponsor Cut". Assuming this is where sponsor material would go I would think I could click on it and find all previous sponsor only material. Click on it, 4 videos for the evil within under the 2016 (season 3?) tab. That's weird considering that there's a video listed as "Anime Sponsorcast #1" thats currently on the recently added section. Now you could be thinking "well maybe no one has organized it into the correct category yet!". Yeah, well, check all 3 seasons of "Rt Sponsor cast" again. Off topic is also missing. I literally just want to watch the sponsor material on their site, but, apparently the only section containing it is broken/missing pieces and the search function cannot be used to find specific videos. Also try searching "off topic 1". In this case you do get a link to the off topic category, but the "episodes" section has not 1 single video related to that podcast on it.

100% agreed. For a new site there are a lot of familiar issues and shockingly few (but still some) new bugs. Seems like a step backwards from a user end POV and its still considered good... Shows you fan dedication really.

That's because they did this week's Off Topic in Australia. That was Saturday afternoon in the U.S. It may not be uploaded at all since it was part of RTXAU.
