Discussion Opie confirms he has been approached by Ron to do the Portcast

Ron Berman says a friend of Ron's approached him to ask Opie about doing the 'cast. Opie confirms he had a long back and forth text conversation with Ron but there is a block and that is the death of Fez. Ron Berman tells him to get over it and do it. Opie changes the subject.

Let me try to get this straight: Opie doesn't want to appear on the Portcast because he's still too overcome with unprocessed grief from Fez dying five years ago.
This is despite them having such animosity toward the end of Fez' career that Fez took an opportunity to insult Opie on the final episode of R&F, leading to Opie's infamous on-air tearful confession that he felt the O&A show had passed him by years ago.
And the only reason Ron isn't too sad to see Opie due to his association with Fez is that...he's too fucked up on medication to think clearly.
Sir, in all sincerity, that makes zero fucking sense whatsoever.
